Selim Laboratories, Inc., is a contract research, technology development, and analytical services company. Selim Laboratories was founded in 1999 by its President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Mustafa I. Selim.

Our Goals

• Research and Technology Development: Selim Laboratories seeks to develop new technologies to test for, control, and prevent human exposure to hazardous chemicals. A current area of emphasis is the development of technologies for the prevention, control, and mitigation of exposures to cancer causing toxins.
• Analytical Services: Selim Laboratories aspires to provide the highest quality analytical services in support of health sciences research of related technological development. This includes, pharmaceutical drug development, biotechnology research, forensic and biomedical analysis, and environmental health assessments.

Selim Laboratories, Inc., is a small privately owned company and is a tenant of the University of Iowa Technology Innovation Center (TIC) on the Oakdale Campus. The University of Iowa Oakdale Campus is located north of Interstate 80 (exit 240), about five miles from the main campus in Iowa City.
